Didn't get System Check or Exam Link?Updated 5 months ago

7 days before your exam date, you will receive a system check email from WSET [email protected] with the subject: "Please check that your computer is ready for your remotely invigilated exam", and you are required to perform this check on your computer and phone seven days before your exam. WSET may not be able to assist with queries submitted within 3 days of the exam date.

Sometimes business email security settings block these emails or they get filtered out. If you don't receive the system check email from WSET Global about 7 days prior to your exam, please complete the following steps:

  1. Check your spam, trash or promo folders for email from [email protected]. If you find the system check email in your spam folder, mark it as "report not spam" and add [email protected] as a new contact to your email
  2. If you used a business email for the exam registration, contact your IT support to check if the emails from WSET are being blocked.
  3. If you don't get the system check email or you are have any subsequent issues with the systems check completion, please notify WSET Global directly via the link here: WSET GLOBAL ONLINE EXAM ISSUES FORM. WSET may not be able to assist with queries submitted within 3 days of the exam date.

3 Days before your exam date, you will receive the exam link in email with the subject: "Here is the link for your exam". Please do not click on the exam link until the date and time of your exam. If you have any issues during your exam, please contact WSET Global's support team via chat within the exam platform and let them know if you are having any issues or need assistance.

It is very unlikely that you would receive the system check email but not the exam link because these are automated when you are registered for the exam. If however, you don't receive the exam link within 3 days of your exam, please follow these steps:

  3. If you don't get the exam link email or you are have any subsequent issues with the systems check completion, please notify WSET Global directly via the link here: WSET GLOBAL ONLINE EXAM ISSUES FORM. Please, note the time difference as WSET is based in the UK.
