Difference Between OnDemand and Instructor-led Online Course?Updated 2 months ago

We offer options for getting WSET Level 1 and 2 in Wine certified through On-Demand and Instructor-led Online courses with an optional wine kit add-on. The On-Demand course offers the most flexibility and very competitive pricing, which includes the exam and digital badge & certification. Watch this video of our recent Student Info Session on on-demand learning.

Key differences

  1. On-Demand is self-paced vs. Instructor-led has structured weekly schedule
  2. On-Demand has no interaction with the instructor or fellow students vs. Instructor-led has live webinars and assignments graded by the instructor and you can ask questions from the teacher
  3. On-Demand course can be completed as fast as you can and it lasts up to 12 months vs. Instructor-led is 4 weeks (L1) and 5 weeks (L2) with the instructor and cohort
  4. On-Demand course books are digital and you get immediate access to them via your online course vs. Instructor-led course includes a hard copy Study Pack, which will be shipped to you within 5-7 business days.
  5. Both formats include the course, course materials, online exam registration within 12 months and digital certification and badge
