• You will receive the receipt by email within minutes and then a second email with subject "Important: Access Your Course & Study Materials" from [email protected] within about 30 minutes. If you don't receive this email, please navigate directly to learn.napavalleywineacademy.com and select Forgot password to reset your password. Then contact [email protected], so we can check your email settings.
• Your  Level 1 course book is a downloadable pdf within your course Welcome section. For Level 2 and Level 3 you'll receive an access code for eBook within your online course Welcome module. You may order a hardcopy book on our website.
• If you order a Wine Kit from our partner, that will be delivered to you by UPS within 7-10 business days and needs to be signed for by an adult.
• You'll be connected with your instructor and fellow students for the length of the online course; Level 1 for 4 weeks, Level 2 for 5 weeks and Level 3 for 10 weeks. After that your course and exam registration access will continue for 12 months from the course start and you will have access to the webinar recordings. You will not be able to submit home assignments or get instructor feedback after your course ends.

• You can find the webinar schedule within your online course. Please, select Course Welcome / Webinars and mark the scheduled sessions to your calendar:

• The instructor will post the specific Zoom links inside the course portal on the first day of the course and the links can be found in the same place, Course Welcome / Webinars, as well as under your weekly modules.
• Attending the live sessions is optional but highly recommended. If you can't join the live webinar, you can find the recording at the same place as the webinar link.

  Check your webinar schedule under Course Welcome / Webinars module

  Gather Materials: Ensure you have your eBook downloaded and the required wines purchased for your tasting webinars.

  Start Week 1: Begin working through the "Week 1" modules immediately to stay on track for your first webinar.

What to expect when you purchase an On-Demand Online Course

• Your study materials for Level 1-2 are downloadable within your course "Welcome - Start Here!" section.

• You can plan your own study schedule and study in your own pace for up to 12 months.
• You can register for the exam within the online course as soon as you like but you must register latest within 12 months of the day you purchased the course.
• If you are taking the On-Demand course but would still like to get instructor support for any questions, you may subscribe to Premier Crew membership and connect with NVWA's instructors in the online community. They are there to support, answer any questions and organize weekly study challenges!

2. Is Level 1 necessary for absolute beginners?
   • While not mandatory, Level 1 is highly recommended for complete beginners for a solid foundational understanding.

4. My course will expire soon, can I continue to study for my exam?
   1. If your scheduled exam date is later than 12 months from your course start and your course will expire, we'll be happy to extend your course access until your exam. If you no longer can access your course, please contact [email protected].
