How does the Online Course work?
We offer options for getting WSET Level 1-3 certified through Online courses with an optional wine kit add-on.
When you purchase an Instructor-led Online Course...
- You will receive a receipt by email within minutes and course access within about 30 minutes. The subject line is "Great Choice"
- Your study materials for Level 1 are downloadable within your course Welcome section. For Level 2 and Level 3 you receive a study pack within 7-10 business days by Fedex.
- If you order a Wine Kit, that will be delivered to you by UPS within 5-8 business days and needs to be signed for by an adult.
- You are encouraged to study at least the course Welcome module before your course start and then follow the weekly schedule.
- Your instructor will send you a Welcome email by the first day of the course. You will also find your webinar times and links within your course modules by the first day of your course.
- You can register for the exam within the online course as soon as you like but the latest within 12 months of the course start.
- You'll be connected with your instructor and fellow students for the length of the online course; Level 1 for 4 weeks, Level 2 for 5 weeks and Level 3 for 10 week. After that your course and exam registration access will continue for 12 months and you will have access to the webinar recordings.

WSET Level 1 Exam Info
WSET Level 1 recommended study hours are 8-10 hours in order to succeed in the exam. You can register for the online exam through your course within 12 months of purchasing the course. The exam is 30 multiple choice questions and you need to get 70% correct to pass it. After passing the exam your results and digital badge and certificate will be sent to you by email within about 3-6 weeks of the exam.

WSET Level 2 Exam Info
WSET Level 2 recommended study hours are 28-32 hours in order to succeed in the exam. You can register for the online exam through your course within 12 months of purchasing the course. The exam is 50 multiple choice questions and you need to get 55% correct to pass it. After passing the exam your results and digital badge and certificate will be sent to you by email within about 3-6 weeks of the exam.
