A course or a study trip with NVWA makes a great gift for any occasion. Here are our tips for how to purchase a course as a gift.

Do you know what type of course and date works for the recipient?

If No, we recommend that you purchase NVWA Gift Card, which the recipient can use for any courses or products on our website when they like.

If Yes, you can select the course on our website and select the option "I'm buying for other people". You'll be asked to provide the student's name, date of birth, email, phone number and shipping address. Please, note that the gift recipient will be notified by email after completing the purchase.

Do you want to keep the course as a surprise?

If Yes, use your own email address instead of your student's email address and ask the student to update the email when you give the gift by contacting [email protected]. 

Please, note our Transfer Policy: Online course start date can be changed >14 days and in-person courses >60 days before the start for $50 transfer fee. All non-WSET and WSET OnDemand courses can be started at any time and they are valid for 12 months from the purchase.

Is your gift recipient new to wine & spirits education?

If Yes, she/he might like to start with the beginner level courses such as Wine 101, WSET Level 1 Award in Wine, Spirits, Sake or Beer.
