WSET has introduced digital certificates and badges for WSET Level 1 and 2, starting from exams taken after November 15th, 2025.
WSET Level 1 and 2 certificates and badges are provided digitally allowing you to receive the certificate immediately. They will bring you a huge range of benefits, including the following:
- You will receive your certificates much faster via email than by post
- You will also be able to share their results more easily on social media, with employers, and will be able to print your own certificate
- Digital certificates are secure and easily verifiable online
- Digital certificates are better for the environment and more sustainable in the long-term

- What if I can’t access the certificate?
- Have you registered on the WSET site? This is a necessary step before the certificate is released.
- Please go to https://www.wsetglobal.com/registration/to register an account. After you have completed the registration and activated your account, you will receive your certificate in a separate email.
- Are you trying to use the one-time link again? The link you initially received is for you to view your credential, not for accessing your account.
- Go to https://v2.eu.accounts.accredible.com/login
- Select ‘sign in’, then ‘forgot password’ and finally ‘request link’.
- Accredible will send you a link to set a password and access your account

- What if I need my name is incorrect? If your name is incorrect, please contact WSET Global directly [email protected]. If your legal name has changed since getting the certificate, you can order a new digital certificate with your updated name at WSET Global’s online store.
- How can certificates be verified by employers? Employers can verify the authenticity of the certificate through a link to the certificate provided by the candidate or via a digital badge. Once the link or badge has been clicked, the employer can verify the certificate by clicking on the ‘verify credential’ button. If a candidate has provided a printed digital certificate, the employer can use the QR code printed on the certificate to be taken to the certificate verification. Click for more information.

- What are digital badges? Digital badges accompany all digital certificates. They can be embedded into email signatures and once clicked they will enable direct access to a candidate’s digital certificate. You can find link to access the badge below your digital certificate at the bottom menu.
- Can digital certificates be shared on social media? Yes, you can share digital certificates on social media using the menu below your digital certificate. Click here for more information.

- Can I still get physical pins/badges? As part of the switch to digital certificates, physical pins are switched to digital badges for all WSET Level 1-2 certifications but you may order a physical pin by contacting [email protected]. WSET Levels 3-4 have paper copy certificates and physical pins.
- How can I get my digital certificate printed? You can download a high quality pdf from the bottom menu below your digital certificate by selecting More / Download Print Quality PDF and get it printed out at professional printing services company such as Staples.
- I noticed that Accredible is a US based company. Will personal data be stored on US or EU servers? We have agreed with Accredible that personal data will be stored on their EU servers.
