eBook Access - How to access it again?Updated 5 months ago

Check if your eBook still valid?

If you have redeemed your eBook and been able to access it previously, please confirm first that your eBook is still valid. eBook licenses are set to expire based on the level:

Level 1 Materials – 1 year from purchase
Level 2 Wines – 1 year from purchase
Level 2 Spirits – 2 years from purchase
Level 3 Materials – 2 years from purchase
Level 4 Materials – 3 years from purchase 

If your license is valid, please follow these steps to access the eBook

1. We recommend downloading the WSET Reader app for Apple devices or Android devices for easier access. This way you can also access the eBook offline e.g. on airplane. 




2. Your username is your email address (the same as for your course) and password is the one you set when you registered the book (redeemed it for the first time with the code). If you don't remember your password, please reset it b selecting "Forgot password"


Alternatively you can access your eBook with your username and password at https://ebooks.wsetglobal.com


Are you seeing a blank page after logging in?


  • Clear browser cache and cookies (Chrome on Mac)
    • Open Chrome → Click the three dots (top right) → Settings
    • Go to Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data
    • Select Cookies and other site data + Cached images and files
    • Choose Time range: All time → Click Clear data
  • Hard refresh the page
    • Press Command (⌘) + Shift + R on the keyboard
  • Try opening the portal in Incognito mode
    • Open Chrome → File → New Incognito Window
  • Log in again and try opening the eBook
  • Check on a different network
    • Try switching to another Wi-Fi network or mobile hotspot and test again
  • Verify system date and time
    • Go to System Settings → General → Date & Time
    • Ensure “Set time and date automatically” is enabled
  • Check VPN/Proxy
    • If any VPN or proxy is enabled, please disconnect/disable it and try again
