WSET Exam Results Timeline

The timeline for receiving your WSET exam results varies depending on the level of the exam you have undertaken. Below are the specifics for each level:

Receiving Your Results

• Email Notification: Your exam results will be emailed from [email protected] to the same email address you used for the exam registration. 
  
  
• Check for Results in your Online Course Portal on https://learn.napavalleywineacademy.com/
• All things related to exams are in the Exam Management Page within your Course in the Online Course Portal on https://learn.napavalleywineacademy.com/ 
• Go to your online course or post-course if taking in-person exam. Select "Course Welcome" or "Exam Registration" module on left Outline.
  

• When NVWA receives the exam results from WSET, they will be posted on the Exam Management page
  
  

Why haven't I received the results?  

• We recommend the following steps if you haven't received your results within the typical timeline
  • Check if it has been longer than the typical timeline for receiving your results
  • Check your spam, promo and trash folders and search email from Exams Napa Valley [email protected]. The email subject includes "Exam Results"  
  • Ensure that your contact information is up to date in our system and you haven’t opted out from emails. You can opt back in by finding any emails sent from [email protected] and clicking on "Subscribe" at the end of the email. If your email has changed or you are not sure, please contact [email protected] to change your contact details.
    
    
• If you have done all above and still don't have the Exam Results, it's possible that there is an unexpected delay with getting them from WSET.  Feel free to reach out and we'll be happy happy to follow up with WSET for you.
  
  
• We know that time goes slow when you are waiting...so why not just continue studying? You can enroll for the next WSET level (WSET L1-3 don't have prerequisite) or check out our NVWA Certification courses, such as Napa Valley Wine Expert, Bordeaux Wine Specialist or Champagne Specialist!

Why is it not possible to get the results faster? 

• All WSET Exams are graded by WSET Global based in London. This includes any exams taken in-person, which NVWA ships to London for grading.

Other students in my exam or course received the result, so why haven't I received them? 

• All WSET Exams are graded by WSET Global based in London and it could be that the exam grading is still ongoing. There could be also an issue with verifying your candidate details such as DOB, name, candidate number or email address. WSET lets NVWA know about any issues and we reach out to you with guidance on the next steps.

Pins and Certificates

• WSET Level 1-2 certifications and badges for exams taken after November 15th, 2024 are digital and sent by email with the results. Click here to learn more about Digital Certificates.
